Configuring Transforms.xml and creating/installing STS
- In the Transforms.xml file located in Admin-InstallTransformKit, change all server names to the desired server name or URL.
- In the Transforms.xml file, add the following line after
STS.UseDevEnvSettings:STS.TokenSigningCertThumbprint; insert the thumbprint value available from the Details tab for your certificate. Remove the spaces from the value and verify no hidden characters appear.
- In the
InitialTransformKit-Ospreyfile, changeMsiTransform.exe-renametoMsiTransform.exe. - Run "run.bat" to create the STS and Administration installation file (OspreyInstaller_AdminSTS.msi).Note: The OspreyInstaller_AdminSTS.msi installation file is located in InstallTransformKit-Osprey/Installs/ folder.
- Run OspreyInstaller_AdminSTS.msi.
- Open an internet browser; enter https://localhost/STS to access thinktecture.
- Click the sign in link to check database connectivity; use the following credentials:
- Username: Admin1
- Password: Today123!
- Click Sign in.
- In Administration / Server Certificates, verify Current SSL Certificate and Current Signing Certificate are set to the expected certificate. If not, select desired certificate from dropdown.
